The Jacksonville Jaguars and Atlanta director of player personnel David Caldwell have finalized a contract that will make him the team’s new general manager. Caldwell's agent announced the news on Twitter around 6 p.m.
The Jaguars’ search for a new general manager continues, but a league source said Thursday to not expect team owner Shad Khan’s final decision until next week at the earliest. The Jaguars have already interviewed David Caldwell, director of player personnel for the Atlanta Falcons, and Tom Gamble, who has the same position with the San Francisco 49ers.
